We are happy to announce that we are open for our executive board application! 

Our club is helping Columbia graduate students to practice case interviews, networking with alums and consultant experts, and landing a job in the consulting field. You will have an opportunity to develop your leadership skills by holding different recruiting events and case competitions with our team.

Position Openings:

  • President: Responsible for setting and monitoring the goals of the club, running club meetings, appointing committee chairs, and delegating tasks as necessary, recruiting, training, and retaining members. You will be responsible to maintain regular communication with your team, club members, industry professionals, and the Columbia University department. Having strong networking skills, past leadership experience (professional/ academic), and a drive to accomplish results is a must.
  • Treasurer: Responsible for managing the organization's funds and balance sheet. You will create budgets for events and advise on events for both financial and non-financial matters. Close collaboration with the events, operations, and the president will be necessary. 
  • Director of Business Relations: CGCC partners with businesses, you will be intricately involved in this role to talk and partner with different consulting companies, negotiate to price and get the best offer. 
  • Director of Content & Blogs: Apart from the offline events, CGCC offers its members online content and material. Your responsibility will revolve around maintaining and coming up with rich content for the team members of CGCC. You will also have a chance to design the 'CGCC Newsletter' weekly and send it to all our members. 
  • Director of Digital Spaces: You will be revamping and maintaining the CGCC webpage. You are also responsible for the social media publicity of CGCC (WhatsApp, FB, IG, LinkedIn). You will also be design and developing posters for our events. 
  • Director of Operations: You will be closely working with the team to enable the operations of various events with the team. Scheduling monthly events, coordinating from team members about their schedules and availability and ensuring that there are enough resources needed for the successful execution of events. 
  • Director of Events: You will be responsible for each individual event at CGCC alongside the whole team for its smooth execution. You will be working closely with the Director of Operations and Director of Logistics to understand the functioning of every event. 
  • Case Leader: CGCC hosts a weekly case session for its members. You will be responsible to lead the case practice and also provide the audience with new cases every week. You need to have intermediate to advance case preparations for this role. You will especially be leading the case competition scheduled for later this quarter which has multiple teams and schools participating in them.
